WK 6: Setting Intentions and Achieving Goals

Living On Purpose

The New Year is around the corner! You’ve nearly made it through the Holidays. I hope that you feel rested, joyous, and refreshed. In this guide, we will discuss how you can keep this positive energy flowing into next year.

Goals, Intentions, and Your Inner Happiness

You can reach your goals. Look at how many beneficial things you have already done for yourself over the course of these past five weeks. Remember how far you have come, and keep aiming higher. How can you do this?:

  1. Understand your dreams and your desires: Write out your desires and write down what you would like to manifest for yourself. Get started by following my “desire list and ideal list” exercise.

  2. Declare your intentions: Use intentions as a way to manifest goals by defending them, exploring realistic ways to meet them, and declaring them openly to the universe, to God, and to yourself. You can start by working through my “declaring your intentions” guide.

  3. How S.M.A.R.T. are your goals?: Are you setting goals that are impossible to achieve? Use my “S.M.A.R.T. goals” rubric to test your goals and see if you need to amend them to better serve you.

  4. Doing what you love: Stop and evaluate where you are expending your energy. Is your job serving you? Take a look at my “love what you do” guide. If you can’t find much happiness in your work, maybe it is time to manifest something better for yourself.

  5. Share your goals: Share your intentions and goals with others in our groups. Share them with me during our next session. I would love to know more about what you are working toward.

  6. Don’t give up: Attaining goals can be difficult, but it is well worth it. Remember that you might struggle. You might falter, but you can always move forward and pick up where you left off. If you really want something and it is a pure, bright, and beneficial thing, pursue it through work and active manifestation.
