Brandy Hickman, NB-HWC, is Board Certified in Health and Wellness Coaching, granted to those who have successfully passed the board exam and meet the stringent guidelines set forth by the NB-HWC. Brandy Hickman has also received certificates from Institute for Integrative Nutrition.
The National Board for Health and Wellness Coaching (NBHWC), a nonprofit affiliate of the National Board of Medical Examiners (NBME), and is collaborating with the American Medical Association (AMA). The mission of the NB-HWC is to lead the advancement of health & wellness coaching by establishing professional standards and collaborative partnerships.

As an NB-HWC I am not a dietitian, nor does the state of Missouri license me to practice medical nutrition. I do not diagnose, treat, prescribe, manage, or cure disease. The information and advice agreed to by both parties is not to be construed as medical advice and may be considered alternative care by licensed practitioners in the state of Missouri. The information provided is not to replace advice from a licensed medical provider and should be used solely at the Client's discretion.
What do health & wellness coaches do?
Health & wellness coaches partner with clients to enhance their well-being through self-directed, lasting changes aligned with their values. I display unconditional positive regard for my clients and believe in their capacity for change, honoring that each Client is an expert on their own life while ensuring that all interactions are respectful and non-judgmental.

Purchases & Transactions
ALL CLIENTS MUST SIGN AN AGREEMENT FOR COACHING SERVICES BEFORE THEIR FIRST SESSION.

PAYMENTS AND REFUNDS
Payment is due upon enrollment. The Client may choose to withdraw from any program at any time but will not be entitled to receive a full refund. Refunds will be prorated based on the number of sessions used, and in addition, a $100 administrative fee will be deducted. All session packages and programs expire 180 days after the program ends, and any unused sessions will be forfeited after expiration.
SCHEDULING
I understand that my clients have busy schedules, and I take pride in not keeping them waiting or keeping them longer than planned. Each session will begin and end on time. If you need to cancel or reschedule the appointment, you must do so 24 hours in advance; otherwise, you will forfeit that appointment and will not be reimbursed.
CONFIDENTIALITY
The Client acknowledges the Kitchen Therapy National Board Certified Health Coach will keep all information exchanged during the program sessions in strict confidentiality. Additionally, the Client is aware that the Kitchen Therapy Health Coach is prohibited from disclosing protected healthcare information, except upon the Client's written authorization.
